Join Vani for this 20-Hour Training to deepen your knowledge of the subtle body.
Delivered over four weeks, this course will delve into Subtle Body theory, provide an introduction to Chakras, Nadis, the five types of Prana & thier functions, and safe practices of Pranayam, Mudras, Bandhas and Kriyas.
Understanding the subtle body offers a powerful framework for exploring the energetic layers of the body and how prana flows within us. With this knowledge, you will be equipped to apply these yogic tools both in your own practice and in your teaching. As a teacher, you'll be able to guide your students in intentionally shifting their energy, cultivating a balanced state in both body and mind, fostering a deeper connection to their inner selves.
What to expect:
Weeks 1 and 2
- Introduction to and discussion of the three types of body - the physical body, the energetic body and the mental/emotional body.
- Introduction to nadis - develop your understanding of the energetic channelsthat flow through each layer of the body
- Introduction to chakras - learn about the psychoenergetic centres that
run throughout the subtle body. - Introduction to and discussion of the five types of prana and their interaction with the physical and subtle body
Weeks 3 and 4
- Practicals of Pranayama techniques, Bandhas, Mudras and Kriyas to enhance functioning of the subtle body and deepen the practice of Yoga students.
These ancient practices are designed to balance energy flow, release blockages, and cultivate mental clarity, emotional stability, and spiritual growth, helping you connect more profoundly with your inner self and prepare to teach with authenticity and presence.
Facilitator:
Vani Shukla has a Master of Sciences in Yoga Therapy from India, has extensive training in different Yoga Traditions and has been sharing the benefits of Yoga with others for the past 20 years. Her personal experience with the transformative power of Yoga has inspired her to spread this practice in its truest form, allowing people to achieve complete well-being in body, mind, and spirit.
