Experience the Power of Kalaripayattu - join us for a dynamic one-hour Kalaripayattu workshop, where you’ll get a hands-on introduction to one of the world’s oldest and most powerful martial arts. Rooted in strength, agility, and mindfulness, this ancient Indian practice enhances physical fitness, flexibility, and mental focus.
We have two special sessions on offer - a Kids Workshop, suitable for children ages 8 - 12 years old, and an Adult Workshop, suitable for all age groups and all fitness levels.
Kalaripayattu, the “mother of all martial arts,” is a 3,000-year-old Indian combat system that blends strength, agility, and mindfulness. Rooted in Ayurveda and yoga, it is more than just self-defense—it’s a complete mind-body discipline.

• Warm-Up & Body Conditioning – Stretching and mobility exercises to build strength and flexibility
• Fundamental Movements – Learn dynamic strikes, kicks, and stances that improve coordination and balance
• Animal Postures – Explore movements inspired by nature, such as the lion, elephant, and snake, to develop agility and power

No experience needed - just wear comfortable clothing to allow to get the most from the workshop, and bring an open mind and a willingness to move!
Facilitator:
Sujata, a dedicated Kalaripayattu and yoga teacher, has devoted herself to preserving and sharing these ancient traditions. With over 30 years of yoga practice and 10 years of teaching experience, she discovered her true calling in Kalaripayattu five years ago. Following the Guru-Shishya Parampara, she now trains and guides students worldwide, passing on the discipline, strength, and spirit of both arts.
